Sallies
the more I live with the idea of abortion, the
more I come to realize that there is no
circumstance, which can justify it. Now, I
don't have first hand knowledge, but it is easy
to imagine that there has been a child, born of
rape or incest, who was loved: who grew up to do
good things; and who was a value to society and
its family: now I say this, in no way to
minimize the wrongness of rape or incest, but, to
say, abortion can never be justified.
Anyway most mothers I know would choose, the
life of their child over their own: wanting the
child to have the hope of a good life. Arvin some people will not agree with you on that, but I am struggling this morning, with the idea of Osama bin Laden. In myself, I believe, at some point he had a choice to serve God or to glorify himself. Looking at the former, he decided, "I can't live this humble existence, I have to be greater;" however, what he failed to remember and believe is, Christ Jesus taught us: "For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest." It is like Gandhi, he likely had the choice of choosing violence at some point, but did not; instead he choose, a humble existences - Osama must be held accountable for his crimes. |
