Sallies when the explosion on the oil platform
occurred, there was the feeling that it may have
been eco-terrorists, but now we see, the White
House talking criminal charges against British
Petroleum; where's Obama's magnanimity now when
it is needed or does he only have it, for people
he believes that America has done wrong? Arvin I don't know if BP took any shortcuts, but like after 911, everyone was ready to go to war against Iraq and now many are ready to nail British Petroleum to a cross. Personally, I do not think anything good or right could come from libeling BP as criminal, but if they didn't make a profit for the next ten years, because they are cleaning up this mess; I know it would be no skin off my nose. |
