Sallies, beside the fact that George Ryan reminds me of a Mr. Magoo, it is likely that his conviction was as much political as just.  That said, since he was convicted, by a jury of his peers, and he is not above the law; therefore ... should be jailed.  Still he has the right to appeal, just like any citizen.

    Arvin it sad to me, for we have such a good system of government; nonetheless, our system of government can only be as good as we the people; if we're corrupt, then our government is corrupt.
