Sallies, I hear some liberals talk as if Mass
Transit is the cure all, for America's energy
needs...? Now I wonder if they believe if
added Mass Transit vehicles, run on spirit
rather than what is likely more fuel, than all
the small cars out on the highways, streets, and
byways use daily. Arvin Mass Transit is fine for point-to-point travel, but people need to get to stores and purchase things that can't be hauled on Mass Transit vehicles. It is almost as if, these liberals have a romantic vision of Mass Transit, and their vision of America is casting it in the form of a 3rd world country: setting up an aristocratic society rather than a society with inalienable rights. |
