Sallies, in the sense of fighting the good fight, Miss runner-up USA has every bases, to file a civil suit; that is, if she want to stand up for this principle.  Meaning if overwhelmingly it was thought, she would win, the pageant, but if she lost because she believes in monogamy, between male and female and that homosexuals should be left alone, but not put in parity to marriage; then yes she was discriminated against.  Now isn't that what the civil laws are to prevent, discrimination, neither to the right or to the left?  

    Arvin I guess it depends on who is interpreting the law, and the social trend of the season.
