irregardless, of any misgiving a country may have, the Olympic Games are a
sports spectacle, which allows people to come together, with a different
venue, other than business and politics, so any thought of boycott is obviously
wrongheaded.
Arvin all countries have their
misgivings. We have them in America! Now China has slave
labor, their Tibetan Policy is in question, and they aren't very conscious
of the environment, but these angry-violent-protests are
counterproductive.
It's like driving a empty big rig truck unproductively, complaining that
fuel costs are to high to drive the Semi productively, such protests makes
no sense. |
