sallies eheads at the fountain      Sallies in a way fining Toyota is counterproductive.  Unless their fine is placed into a trust used to help individuals, and to fix the acceleration and braking problems.  They already have immense expensive, because of these failures: what improvement will fine money bring, what will fine money be used for, and where does the fine money go too?

Arvin, true, it's similar to fining mining companies as well!  Yes, they need chastisement, but taking more money, for who know what expenses, will only increase the stress of cutting corners.  Now if the fine money could be held in trust and used to improve the safety, then I would be all for this type of legal action.  Again if they are fined for neglect, where does that fine money end up - does it help with mining safety or does it end up in some bodies pockets?
