The Thirty-first Week in Ordinary Time

·         Romans 12:5-16

·         Psalm 131:1-3

·         Matthew 11:28

·         Luke 14:15-24

Brothers and Sisters, in Christ Jesus, let us realize that he, Christ Jesus, always, testified to the truth and, indeed, he, was, and is the truth; nonetheless, some may say that he was impertinent: instead of Jesus simply saying yes or agreeing with the Apostle who spoke, blessed is the person who will dine in the kingdom of God, Christ Jesus chose this moment -- to not agree with him, but -- to teach, the Apostles, give them another parable of life, truth, and the way….  Now Christians, there is one spirit and we are called to one hope, that is, eternal life in Christ Jesus’s eternal kingdom and there is but one body, and the person that is joined unto the Lord Christ Jesus is one spirit, the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth….  Yes Christians, we must wash ourselves clean in the blood of Christ Jesus, by repenting of our sins: for it is the person who washes themselves clean in the blood of Christ Jesus and keeps, his commandments that may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city; the person who washes themselves clean in repentance is the one, who is of the one spirit in Christ Jesus….  Truly, Christians, do not be misled but chase the roe, that is shoo deceit, away, and first seek the kingdom of heaven and the Heavenly Father’s Righteousness: for we are born again in Christ Jesus, not, so that we may live sinful lives; rather, Christ Jesus came to make the world, well, not to condemn it, and we are healed, when we wash ourselves clean in the blood of the lamb: that is, repent of our sins, turn and be grafted onto the true vine; Christ Jesus is the true vine….  Christ Jesus sent out his Apostles and disciples to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick….  Now Christians, Christ Jesus came not to condemn or judge the world but to save….  Two things we should be aware of in this proclamation: it uses the word world; truly, it is referring to people….  Secondly, the use of this word, save; it refers to being washed clean through our repentance: Christ Jesus is the blood sacrifice, for our sins, and to receive, this grace that his sacrifice established, we must turn away from our sin and sinfulness, meaning, we must repent of our sins: change our behavior, that is, go and sin no more….  Christians, Saint Paul, Apostle, uses this phrase: hate what is evil; what does he mean by this….  Saint Paul tells us the works of the flesh are obvious: immoralities, envy, orgies and many other sinful things….  Christ Jesus tells us; it is what comes out of a person that defile’s a person and Jesus mentions several things: evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly; these are some of the things that defile a person….  Still, we must look at the Old Testament to get a clearer understanding of these things that are evil: when God destroyed the people of Noah’s time it was because they were evil – they were not Hollywood evil, with its fake vampires, werewolves, Marvel super heroes fighting the evil of Doctor Doom nor the evil of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde; rather, the evil of the Old Testament was Jezebel and her idolatry: the murdering, deceits and lies, and the giving place to all kinds of immoralities and then having false priests bless them, which of course made no difference to God the Heavenly Father….  For Jezebel’s death was prophesies by Elijah and she died exactly as God the Heavenly Father ordained from heaven: Jezebel fell from a high window, broke her neck, and then was eaten by dogs – becoming excrement on the streets and God the Heavenly Father ordained and prophesied to all this happening….  Again, this hating of evil, as we understand it, through the Old Testament, is the hating of things, but not, other human creatures: yes, the hating of things God called evil; clearly put, the things God calls sin are evil….  So, we have the Ten Commandments, and breaking the commandments is evil; having sexual relations with your sister is evil; having sexual relations with animals is evil; having sexual relations with a man laying with another man as a woman, in other words, homosexual relations are evil; the immolation of children is an evil sinned against God, which today’s equivalent is abortion….  Yes, the things that are evil in the Old Testament are not these fantastic things of imagination, man’s fake designs of evils, but, it, evil is the common ordinary sinful things that we refuse to turn away from and repent: trying, wanting and coveting to give place and establish sinful things as acceptable are the evils of humankind….  Now Christians, let us turn to what is sincere love: unfeigned love in Christ Jesus is knowing that Christ Jesus died for our sins; knowing that we are all sinful – that the human flesh is wretchedly sinful, as Saint Paul testifies, but that God so love the world that he gave is only Son, as a sacrifice for our sins, and when we make a sincere repentance, we receive his grace and are washed clean in the blood sacrifice of Christ Jesus, the Messiah….  Yes Christians, a thing of sincere love is the peace of God, for it surpasses all understanding, and it guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as a shield of faith….  Other things of unfeigned love are: whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, and if there be any thing of excellence and if there be anything worthy of praise think about these things; these things that are in accordance with Christ Jesus’s way, truth, and life, these things of sincere love….  Now Christians, in the name of the Lord Christ Jesus let us pray and be thankful….  Amen….

The Thirty-second Week in Ordinary Time

·         Wisdom 2:23—3:9

·         Psalm 34:2-3 & 16-19

·         John 14:23

·         Luke 17:7-10

Christians, the world hates the truth, they hated and hate Christ Jesus; for he is the way, the truth, and the life, and the light of the world: Christ Jesus, gets in the way of their preferred darkness: be it false ministers and preachers; be it those who chase after the immoral flesh; be it who chase after worldly riches and the vainglory of having power over those things of mammon; still, let it be known; in Christ Jesus all things belong unto us….  Now Christ Jesus does not cause a person to stumble nor to sin; rather, the law and the Holy Spirit exposes sin, as sin, and Christ Jesus is the blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins and sinfulness, and we receive the grace that Christ Jesus’s sacrifice established, when we turn from our sins, repent of our sins, acknowledge and confess our sins and sinfulness….  Truly Christians, to say that we believe in Christ Jesus is then also to say: that we have realized and have acknowledge, that we must turn away from our sins and sinfulness and that we, then, have chosen Christ Jesus: repenting and going and sinning no more….  Yes Christians, Christ Jesus died for our sin, he is the perfect and eternal sacrifice for our sins, the sins and sinfulness of humankind….  Truly, each of us must work out our own salvation: no one can receive, Christ Jesus, for us; no one can receive Christ Jesus’s grace, for us and no one can receive Christ Jesus’s gift of eternal life, for us; rather, we must each receive Christ Jesus for ourselves, and the way that we receive Christ Jesus is through belief and through acknowledging our sinful self and then turning from our sinful flesh and choose to live after the spirit, that is, the Holy Spirit of our Lord Christ Jesus….  Truly, if we live after the flesh, we shall die: but if we through the Spirit do mortify, that is, put to death, the deeds of the body, we shall live….  Now, again, Christians, Saint Paul, Apostle has warned us and warned us again, those who live according to the obvious deeds of the flesh, they shall die, that is, they will not be welcomed into eternal life with Christ Jesus in his heavenly kingdom but will be condemn to eternal condemnation in the unquenchable fire that awaits all who refuse to repent of their sins and sinfulness….  Truly Christians, there is no other way; for Christ Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes unto the Father, God the Heavenly Father except through the Son, the Lord Christ Jesus…. Yes Christians, the word of God came unto Saint John, the Baptist: John was the son of Zechariah, and Zechariah was a priest in the first century after the resurrection: AR….  Saint John came into the country of Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins….  Saint John the Baptist was the messenger of God that who the Prophet Isaiah wrote about, saying: Behold, I send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way; the voice of one crying in the wilderness: make ready the way of the Lord; make his paths straight….  Now Christians, we were created in the image of God, the Heavenly Father; we were formed to be imperishable….  Yet, through the envy of the Devil; death entered the world….  Then, the devil through lies, tricks and deceit caused Eve to sin, and Adam followed her, in her sin, and the two sinned against God….  Now, those who are in unrepented sin, they are in the devil’s possession and experience death: those who have unrepented sinful deeds will be cast into the lake of unquenchable fire; whereas, those who have washed themselves clean in the blood of the Lamb, Christ Jesus; those who believe in Christ Jesus and repent of their sins and sinfulness will experience eternal life in Christ Jesus’s eternal kingdom.…  Now, in Christ Jesus, we experience a peace that goes beyond all understanding and a complete joy, of life, in Christ Jesus, and the grace that washes over us that dissolves the temptations and the sinful desires and gives us power over all the obvious works of the flesh: for in Christ Jesus’s way, truth and life we are no longer slaves to the flesh, but are new creatures in Christ Jesus living according to his spirit and life, that is, according to Christ Jesus’s Gospel, his words of spirit and life….  Yes, Christians, those who live in goodness and truth and who are willing to give a glass of cold water to a person who is one of Christ Jesus’s disciples, to them, they will not loose their reward….  Still, the Lord Christ Jesus knows covetous and he knows those whose light is darkness: those who use covetous as a tool against God the Heavenly Father and those who God has blessed: for they steal, usurp, contort, tangle, wrench mammon from people, for their own glory; these, like all, will receive their reward….  Wisdom: what is wisdom: according to the word, wisdom is fear of the Lord God our Heavenly Father; for he can indeed throw our souls into eternal damnation….  Now in this reading, from the Book of Wisdom, it says, the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them; therefore, we should ask, who are the souls of the just!  Now Christians, being just in accordance with God’s word is not the same thing as being just in the world….  Saint John, the Apostle teaches that there is no sin in God, at all, and that there is only light: there is no darkness in Christ Jesus, at all; there is only light….  So, if we say that we are in the hand of God, in fellowship with the Lord Christ Jesus, but live and walk in darkness, then, clearly, we are liars and there is no justice in us nor is truth in us….  Still, those whose light is darkness; those who have a worldly justice; those who have a pretend justice, they may see themselves as elite faultless beings but that is because they do not consider any of their faults, but only look to worldly avarice and reward; hence, they do not consider the only true reward and this is, the reward that will be judged by the Lord Christ Jesus when he comes again to separate the lambs from the goats….  Yes, Christ Jesus’s judgment is foolishness to them, for they do not believe in God or so they pretend….  Yes, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, our work is to believe in the Lord Christ Jesus, so that we may stand against the wiles of the devil and his advocates….  We are not to work for the things that perish; rather, we are to work to bring all of our thoughts and imaginations under the authority of the Lord Christ Jesus’s Gospel….  Yes Christians, under the law of Moses, we were not justified, but under the blood sacrifice of our Lord Christ Jesus we are all justified before God, that is, when we believe: in the Lord Christ Jesus; turn away from our sins; repent of our sins; and live in the newness of life of Christ Jesus’s Gospel….  Yes Christians, Saint Paul taught us that we are to pray continuously, and we are not to be blind to our sinful flesh but we are to be aware of our sinfulness: whether it be pride, immorality, inequity, or any of the things Christ Jesus taught us that do defile a person….  Now Christians, in the name of the Lord Christ Jesus let us pray and be thankful….  Amen….

Memorial of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

·         2 Maccabees 6:18-31

·         Psalms 3:2-7

·         1 John 4:10

·         Luke 19:1-10

Christians, do we not see that Christ Jesus’s ministry proceeded, although orderly, it was in a non-scripted format: being as; it was Jesus’s plan to pass through Jericho, without stopping, but Zacchaeus, the sinner – according to the social fantasy or normality of that day – was a stop, on God the Heavenly Father’s, agenda, that was only revealed in the moment….  Now Christians, when we read this testimony from Maccabees, we may understand that for Eleazar: it was not about pork; it was about the fact that God the Heavenly Father commanded the Israelites not to eat pork….  Eleazar was a faithful scribe and he preferred the momentary death wrought about by the unfaithful and the Gentiles to what he believed would be an eternal damnation wrought about by his disobedience to God the Heavenly Father’s word….  Christ Jesus teaches us that if any person come to him and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brethren and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be a disciple of the Lord Christ Jesus….  We look at what Saint Paul teaches, saying: For there is no respect of persons with God….  For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law….  Now Christians, since this what Saint Paul says is a spiritual truth it is as true for us today as it was from the time death entered the world, and Adam and Eve were thrown out of paradise….  So, we understand that all those who died in Noah’s time died without the law; as well, we understand that those who died through the dispersion or the diaspora died under the law and for the breaking of the commandments of God the Heavenly Father….  Yet, now in Christ Jesus we are no longer under the law, but the law is manifested in the spirit, and although we are justified before God the Heavenly Father because of Christ Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, we will also receive the rewards for our deeds as Christ Jesus has testified: the obvious works of the spirit are not the same as the obvious works of the flesh, and although God the Heavenly Father does cause the sun to shine on the just and the unjust, the believers and the non-believers, it is only when we believe in Christ Jesus and repent of our sins and sinfulness that we have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the city….  Now Eleazar preferred a glorious death, to a life of defilement; although the thing that would have been defiling was the eating of pork, it was not the eating of the pork that would have defiled Eleazar, which is not the same, case, as the sins against our own flesh, but it would have been the disobedience to God’s covenant with Moses and the covenant with Abraham and with the forefather of Eleazar’s beloved descendants.  Yes, it would have been the choosing of death but not only death eternal torment and this death; whereas, on Mount Ebal and on Mount Gerizim the chosen people, descendant of Adam and Eve and Noah and Abraham recited the curses and the blessings and God said unto them: today I have set before you blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life that both you and your children may live….   Now Christians, in Christ Jesus we are to love the Lord God the Heavenly Father with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul and with all of our strength: indeed, we keep this love by living the words and teachings of spirit and life that being Christ Jesus’s Gospel of repentance for the forgiveness of sin and sinfulness….  Now as we continue in the knowledge learned from Eleazar, let us also realize that Saint Paul, also did a similar thing, but first: Eleazar refused to pretend before family, friends, neighbors, the gentile Pharaoh Ptolemy IV and mainly, he refused to pretend and be insincere about the truth: God did forbid and has forbidden certain behaviors and although humankind may be able to repent of their sins, that is, if God is merciful and allows them repentance, humankind cannot rightly change what God has called sin, to be holy: God called murder a crime and so it is; God called adultery a sin and so it is; God called stealing as sin, and we all know that stealing is a sin; God called many things abomination and these abominations are not holiness; although, there is the chance to repent, that is, turn away from our sin and go and sin no more, and then be washed clean in the blood of the lamb, Christ Jesus, which is repenting of our sins and sinfulness….  Yes, Eleazar chose life, by choosing faithfulness to the Lord God the Heavenly Father and by refusing to pretend that the lie was truth….  Now it is an interesting thing that the people who were being kindly to Eleazar and coaxing him to turn away from God and to be disobedient to God, became furious with him: they became hostile because Eleazar chose God over being afraid of a person, the Ptolemy, the IV….  This, Eleazar refusing to be afraid of a man, Ptolemy IV, seemed like complete foolishness to those who had chosen to be afraid of death and had chosen to be afraid of the man Ptolemy the fourth, but these who feared their mortal death were well enough, to be disposed of pretending that God the Heavenly Father does not exist; that Christ Jesus did not exist, and is a fantasy; and that there is no eternal judgment that we are dead and done….  Still, Eleazar was not capable of such a charade or fantasy of not believing that the God of his forefathers was something made up by men, and all the things that happen in Egypt between Pharaoh and Moses were stories imagined by good story tellers….  Nor could Eleazar imagine that the forty years the Israelite spent wondering in the desert was another imagined story told to children, so that they would do their chores….  As well, Eleazar was incapable of imagining and lying to himself, for he knew that God the Heavenly Father did cause the dispersion of Israel for the Israelites complete disobedience to his commandments: God said thou shalt not commit adultery, but the Israelites became like bees leaving their pollen in every flower: women did things that were against nature and men did these abominable things as well; moreover, there was the murdering of the people for the lusts of their greed and there was the immolation of children because people had given themselves over to the lust of their flesh, to the lust of their drunkenness and the leaders of the people caused them to error and did not remind them of God the Heavenly Father’s commandments….  So, Eleazar being a rare man, then likely said of him -- some three thousand years ago, that he was the last of his kind; yet, we know that those people who had chosen filth and fear were wrong….  We know those who refuse to use the threshing tool to beat at the fitches and refuse to use the rod to beat out the cumin and those who ask to be told things that are not right and true but, to speak smooth things; to prophesy deceits that these lying children, that do not want to live in the manifestation of the law in the spirit, but seek after the flesh, they in their assertion, for Christ Jesus came into the world and not only did he stand in the truth and what is right, he is the way, the truth and the life and Christ Jesus died because people thought he was foolish: they mocked him, if he is the Son of God let him come down off the cross – physician heal thyself….  Now Christians, in the name of the Lord Christ Jesus let us pray and be thankful….  Amen….

The Thirty -fourth Week in Ordinary Time

·         Daniel 2:31-45

·         Daniel 3:57-61

·         Revelation 2:10

·         Luke 21:5-11

Christians witnessing to the Lord Christ Jesus is the spirit of prophecy: Jesus prophesied; of this temple that Ezra and Nehemiah restored, shepherded the reconstruction under the Persian Period: that not one stone would be left upon the other, and we know that this came to be around sixty A.D. after the Resurrection of Christ Jesus, rightly called A.R. instead of A.D. ….  Now Christians, Nebuchadnezzar was driven from men, made to eat grass like the oxen and God caused him to become a hairy beast, as if feathers had grown into the pores of his skin and he had finger-nails, as the claws of a bird, and God the Heavenly Father caused this downfall because of Nebuchadnezzar’s arrogance: believing that he alone – through his wisdom, his hand, and his ability rose to be the king of kings….  Still, Nebuchadnezzar’s crumbling kingdom was prophesied, and not by sorcerers or stargazers – these agents of evil; rather, this prophesy happened through his own dream’s, which nobody but Daniel, God the Heavenly Father’s, servant, could articulate and interpret….  Daniel told him, Nebuchadnezzar, of how a stone would be hewn, but not by human hands -- somewhat like the tablets of stones that the commandments, ordinances, laws and decrees were engraved, when God the Heavenly Father gave to the Israelites, through Moses, the Ten Commandments….  Then this stone, in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream would become a great mountain and would fill the entire earth….  The stone in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream alludes to Christ Jesus but it also speaks of various kingdoms that would rise up and be the end of Nebuchadnezzar, and Cyrus was one of these who put an end to Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom….  Cyrus was also an agent employed by God the Heavenly Father to cause the restoration of the Temple, at Jerusalem, but whereas with Cyrus, he acknowledged that God the Heavenly Father was the source of his strength but of course, it was Nebuchadnezzar’s arrogance and vainglory, believing that his strength was in his own hand and this caused his downfall….  Both Nebuchadnezzar and Cyrus were employed by God the Heavenly Father to cause his will to be done: Nebuchadnezzar to cause the diaspora or dispersion, while Cyrus to cause the restoration; although there were intermediaries, between, Nebuchadnezzar and Cyrus, these two had these pronounced parts….  Yet, also, according the Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, articulated and interpreted, by Daniel, there were other nations, kings, and parties involved in the works of God the Heavenly Father, in which he was showing his creature the truth of life….  We are to seek justice and judgement; truthfully, vengeance belongs to God the Heavenly Father, and, until, we realize this all people will suffer in their sins; no matter the side of the coin a person may be on….  For there is only one truth, one light and one way, and Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and is the true light that lights the life in all people: for God the Heavenly Father said: Let there be light, and so brought forth this day that we now live….  Yes Christians, Daniel declares that God the Heavenly Father had given dominion and strength and power and glory to Nebuchadnezzar, but the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, and so that was what came to pass: and more than once in the Babylonian kingdoms….  Still, now, Christ Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Heavenly Father, and Jesus is far above: all principality and might and dominion and every name that is named, and not only in this world, but also in that which is to come….  Yes, all things have been put under the feet of the Lord Christ Jesus, and have been given to him: for Jesus, the Christ, is the head over all things to the church, which is the body, and Christ Jesus is the fulness that fills all that is all…. Truly Christians, we should remember, always, that Christ Jesus is wonderful; that he is counselor, the great high priest, prince of peace, mighty God, everlasting Father and yes, Christ Jesus is over all things, for all things were created by him, and for him: for Christ Jesus is the word made flesh….  Truly, Christians, even before the restoration began; God the Heavenly Father had already told, through the Prophet Isaiah, of the downfall, of the Israelites that would come after the restoration….  For the Israelites are a stiff-necked people; they are also God the Heavenly Father’s chosen, and God the Heavenly Father will choose Jacob and Abraham and David; truly, the Israelites neighbors are no closer to God then they….  What all people fail to realize is that God is truth; God is life; and God is the way, and when God the Heavenly Father commands us to be obedient, God is commanding us to be obedient to the way, the truth, and the life: the word made flesh, Christ Jesus….  Yes, God the Heavenly Father is love and his Son the Lord Christ Jesus is the very refulgence of his Father, the Lord God the Heavenly Father the creator of heaven and the earth….  The person, now, today, and since the dawn of creation is a dichotomy; there is the flesh and there is the spirit: while the truth of the flesh leads to death – just as Eve and Adam’s disobedience caused their expulsion from paradise – yes, the truth of the flesh leads to death and eternal death, but the truth of the spirit leads to life and not only life, but eternal life in Christ Jesus’s eternal glorious kingdom: then those in Jesus Christ’s kingdom will look out upon the carcasses of the people who transgressed against God the Heavenly Father and did not repent: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they, these transgressors shall be abhorring to all flesh….  Yes, to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace….  Again, the concern of the flesh is death, but the concern of the spirit is life and peace….  Yes, Nebuchadnezzar had been given power and dominion, but God the Heavenly Father took this away from Nebuchadnezzar, not only for his disobedience, for God was certain Nebuchadnezzar would be disobedient, arrogant, haughty, and prideful, but it was God the Heavenly Father’s plan to restore Jacob, restore Israel after they had fallen and they returned to him; after they acknowledged the truth of life….  Now Christians, in the name of the Lord Christ Jesus let us pray and be thankful….  Amen….
